Fishing

The Dunbeath Estate is the ideal locale for a quiet fishing holiday. The estate's rivers and lock offer a relaxing opportunity to cast for Trout and Salmon. The Dunbeath Water is a spate river and is dependant on rainfall for Salmon Fishing. The Salmon fishing season typically runs from March/April to September/October. Trout is available all year round in the trout pool located on the river.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own fishing gear, but we do have a couple of rods available if necessary.
