Situated some 25 kms from the coast in the heartland of the Flow Country of Caithness, the lodge nestles on the banks of Glutt Water at the upper reach of the Thurso River.

During winter months this remote, authentic lodge, complete with atmospheric peat fire, is a must for the true aficionado of the Scottish highlands (you need not be entirely alone, as Freddy Mackay, our renowned Keeper, lives some 200 yards away and will happily cater for those on sporting holidays).

The truly remarkable walks and views on this beautiful and awe-inspiring Estate make it a walker's haven and to picnic by the Falls of Glutt is an experience that should not be missed.

For the sporting holiday, Glutt, an estate of some 10,000 acres, has excellent Trout fishing on the peace and serenity of Glutt Loch.

1st Floor: 2 twin Bedrooms, 1 single Bedroom and 2 bathrooms.
