Charming restored traditional ghillie’s bothy. Two up and two down! The ultimate charming retreat - a roaring open fire, a large bathroom and a huge double bed and for those other moments a traditional kichen with a solid fuel stove and gas hob.

Glutt is as far away from things as it is almost possible to get in the UK - it really requires a 4x4 vehicle to clear the bumps on the good hill road and it is powered by diesel generators - and thus it does not have all the facilities - washing machines etc - that our other properties have. It requires a certain practicality to keep the solid fuel stove “in” etc - not for the faint hearted. The generators are non intrusive and when they go off at night (but don’t leave your mobile charging overnight!) the silence is intense and for city dwellers even too much! The panoply of non light polluted night sky has to be seen to be believed.
