The Dunbeath Lodges

The Dunbeath Estate has a total of 12 lodges
and cottages which are available to rent:

Scottish holidays - the Dunbeath Estate. All lodges and cottages have colour televisions, electric cookers, microwave ovens, washing machines, radio cassette players, coffee makers and toasters. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with one sack of local peat for the open fires (further supplies can be purchased at the going rate).

(One dog per household is allowed but prior notice is requested)

Standing just 50 yards from the beach of Dunbeath Bay and with wonderful views across the Harbour, these three fishermen's cottages have been completely renovated and furnished to a high standard to offer great charm and comfort.

This substantial stone built lodge dating from 1880 is situated high above Dunbeath Water and set amongst hazel and Scots pine woods. With its antique furnishings and modern kitchen and bathrooms, the lodge offers a very high level of comfort and charm.

This secluded and quiet cottage has magnificent views over Dunbeath water and easy access to the river and the famous Prisoner's Leap Gorge.

For those who long for a true escape, Glutt Lodge offers a unique and enthralling experience. Situated some 25 kms from the coast in the heartland of the Flow Country of Caithness, the lodge nestles on the banks of Glutt Water at the upper reach of the Thurso River.
